I always wonder why we have to see the world in our own ways. There are always different views and perceptions. A modern art can symbolize various imaginations, creations in our mind. But I can guarentee you that you will have a unique explanation what the art symblozies. That’s the marketing point of view for the modern art. You would buy things that seems close to you. Yes I agree that the color make it a excellent art or the average one. This tends to leave the mark that our mind is more inclined at seeing the colors. A picture is worth a thousand words. This proverb seems to have originated after a careful observation of human psyche.
“Every coin has two faces”.
I was handed over a sketched picture and was asked to explain what the picture symblozises. The picture was of a small girl with beautiful eyes. I was shocked to learn that there was two pictures inside one. There was a women in traditional Indian clothing. I was speechless for few moments. I was not able to see the other figure…suppose to be of farm lady. It took me almost 10 minutes to literally see the lady. Awesome! It just set the tone that I was one dimentional and need to have a broader prospects of life. I eye opener.
These things points out that we see what we wish to see. This creates a sort of filtering applied to things we feel, visualize and think about. I was jolted to have come through this experience. We always tend to react if it affects our comfort zone.
Why do we all have to react? We all react, that’s human nature. We cann’t control the reaction, but we can react in a better way. That’s what makes us humans, right?
